What if you were part of a community of like-minded people who built their city not on rock n' roll, but on the ideals and rules they desired for their community (ok, so maybe rock n' roll)? What if you could build your house--and even your city--the way you want it, based on the technologies you knew? What if you could pitch in with other members of your community to improve your technologies...or even learn (or steal) from other communities who have different technologies? What if your community could work together to research, build, and craft, and you could take part in these activities off-line, while at work, or on trips using a smartphone or other networkable handheld device? What if you could accomplish tasks through major networking sites, using applets integrated in networks such as Facebook? What if your online time blurred the line between gaming and networking...and perhaps between those two and work or school? What if your community could launch epic quests to rid your city of problems, engage rare and dangerous beasts to build your city's reputation among its neighbors, or even wage war against another city with land and naval battles? What if the completion of quest events radically changed zones and politics of your city, truly shaping the world in which you live? You'd be immersed in a rich and enveloping land that touches every piece of today's gamer's life. You'd be in my game. And you will.
