Real Life

The best games are games that you can learn from either your mistakes or the mistakes of others. Real life is a begin at the bottom and work your way to the top, using your own brain and whatever life throws at you to get there. Everybody starts in the downtown bus station with a small paycheck. The penalties are low but so are the rewards... your low wages trap you in the downtown loop. But figure out a way to get out, either get an education, gain a trade or just have some dumb luck and you can advance to the upper levels where immunity of fines, a share of the rewards await BUT.... in Real Life, although getting to the top is difficult, the tricky part is staying there. Just as a powerful politician can be toppled by a simple election or a crooked cop can get rich.... it's the alliances you make and keep that help you stay on top. Cross someone to get higher and that person may hold a grudge that never forgets. In Real Life, players learn... you must have more than dumb luck to get to the top and you must have real deal skills to stay there. With a hierarchy of citizens, policemen, lawyers, judges, politicians, anybody can be somebody today and nobody tomorrow. Real life. It's not about killing people, it's about not getting killed and still getting home for dinner.
