My game idea is a multi-player, online football sports management game (Warcraft meets Championship Manager, but using NFL Football). When you join the game, you start out with a small team from a fictional city in a fictional country. You get placed in a low level league. If you win your league, you get promoted to a better league. As you get promoted, you get more revenue from tv, ticket sales, etc.. During the season you draft players, negotiate contracts, trade players, and bid on free agents against other human controlled teams. Every 2-3 days, a game is played and the results listed. If you are online during the game, you can coach your team. Otherwise, the computer does it. A full season takes ~1 month.
